The parish of St. John Baptist is in the Central/Catholic tradition of the Church of England. We are blessed to be able to offer a wide variety of prayer and worship experiences across our parish. Please use the opportunities that are there for you, and invite other people to come with you.

1st Sunday:

9.30am Morning Worship (no Holy Communion)

2nd & 3rd Sundays:

9.30am Sung Eucharist

4th Sunday:

9.30am Family Service (no Holy Communion)


St Peter’s Chapel, Meadowfield, Fulwood

1st Sunday:

9.30am Sung Eucharist

When there is a 5th Sunday in the Month:

10.00am All Parish Eucharist is celebrated one of the worship centres. This replaces the usual 9.30am & 11.00am services. See the Pew Sheet / Website for more details.


JIGSAW (Sunday School)

runs every Sunday during school term times at the 9.30am and 11.00am services in the three worship centres. On the Sundays where there is a Family Service, JIGSAW members are invited to be a part of the main congregation.


Midweek Eucharist

Wednesday at 10.00am at St John Baptist Parish Church, followed by refreshments and fellowship.
Friday at 10.00am at St Martin Chapel, followed by refreshments and fellowship.


Morning Prayer

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 8.30am at St Martin’s Chapel
Friday at 8.30am at St John Baptist Parish Church
This is a simple, relaxed 20 minute said service using the Daily Office of Psalms, Bible readings and intercessions.
